Isabel Berwick is one of the FT's best-known faces and voices, leading the FT's Working It brand, writing a weekly newsletter for FT subscribers and presenting across audio, video and TikTok, as well as chairing, moderating and presenting at internal and external events. Her Working It podcast ran for three years and 3mn downloads, and a recent future of work video series has nearly 1mn views on YouTube.

She has written and spoken extensively on diversity, women's advancement and equal pay, and is editorial lead for the FT's Women in Business Forum. Isabel has been involved with internal gender equity initiatives at the FT for the past decade.

Her book, The Future-Proof Career, is a practical, personal and jargon-free guide to improving working life at any stage of your career, and will be published in paperback in September 2025.

Isabel joined the FT in 1999 and held senior reporting and editing jobs across the paper, from FT Weekend to the Opinion and Analysis desk, before becoming Work & Careers editor in 2018. She began leading the Working It brand full time in 2023.
