Katie Seaman is a Senior Coach and Resilience & Wellbeing Specialist at Encompass Equality. As a resilience, performance and wellness coach, she delivers individual and group training to private clients, businesses and school communities. She has helped hundreds of people move from stressed and anxious to calm and happy; from overwhelmed and exhausted to focussed and intentional.
Prior to starting her own coaching business, Katie worked for an international trade organisation, a top five management consultancy, local government and SMEs giving her rich experience across both the public and private sectors and organisations both large and small.
Katie’s coaching is underpinned by contemporary psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness and compassion and she draws on a rich arsenal of both business coaching tools and holistic wellbeing practices to help her clients develop the awareness, attitudes and focus that enables them to fulfil their potential.
Trained through Mindfulness UK in Level 4 Integrating Mindfulness and Compassion in Professional Practice certified by the CPCAB, Katie’s philosophy is that we all share the same deep rooted psychological need for acceptance, authenticity, acknowledgement, respect, care and purpose. Katie very much sees her role as simply a facilitator - giving her clients the tools, opportunity and support to access their own inner wisdom.
Katie is known for her compassionate, enthusiastic and warm teaching style which makes her popular with everyone from seven year old SEN pupils to SLT and boardroom executives.
